Qualifications

• Licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nursing or licensure from a state within the Nursing Compact.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, develop a plan of care, implement and evaluate care for patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians in accordance with nursing practice.
• Direct, monitor, and evaluate care delegated to non-licensed personnel as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care; provide cross-functional technical services.
• Under laboratory direction, perform patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance.
