Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse in the State of Texas; license must remain active.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• One year of intra-operative care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers direct patient care in the operating room.
• Leads with clinical judgment and prioritizes patient safety.
• Supervises and coordinates care for patients in a single operating room.
• Maintains patient privacy and dignity; documents care accurately.
• Assists with identification and confirmation of operative site.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available for procedures.
