Job summary

Virginia Urology is seeking a qualified Operating Room RN to perform perioperative nursing duties in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. The role includes circulating, scrubbing, and assisting in surgeries for adult and geriatric patients, with emphasis on safety, asepsis, and teamwork.

The position requires a nursing degree, Virginia license or reciprocity, CPR and ACLS certification, and at least two years of circulating experience. Full benefits and a stable work schedule are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed in the State of Virginia or awaiting reciprocity.
• Minimum two years of circulating nurse experience.
• CPR and ACLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Develops a care plan in line with nursing standards and ASC policies.
• Provides perioperative nursing care as circulating, scrub, and assistant.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates changes to the team.
• Maintains aseptic technique and ensures informed consent is complete.
• Assists anesthesia and surgeon, supports PACU handoff with patient status report.
• Maintains accurate documentation and patient safety throughout perioperative care.
