• Experience in intraoperative perioperative nursing.
• Ability to scrub and circulate on cases independently.
• Willingness to work call, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and circulates on cases independently, with minimal direction.
• Prepares for surgical cases, anticipating needs of patient, surgeon, anesthesia and OR team.
• Maintains aseptic technique and ensures a safe environment for patient and staff.
• Collects and analyzes data and assists in nursing diagnoses.
• Communicates effectively with patient, staff, physicians and families.
• Directs room turnover and assists with equipment setup.
