Job summary

SCA Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. The RN will promote the mission and values of SCA Health while assessing patient status and developing perioperative care plans within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable. Prior OR experience is preferred and pediatric considerations may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• PALS certification is required if pediatric care is included in facility scope within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.

Education
