Job summary

SCA Health in the United States is hiring a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to support perioperative care programs across our facilities. You will assess patient status, develop care plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient care. The role requires nursing graduation, current licensure, and BLS/ACLS; PALS if pediatric.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
BLS within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.
ACLS within 90 days of employment or current ACLS certification.
PALS required if pediatric care is included in facility scope within 90 days or current PALS certification.
Perioperative nursing specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
