Candidates should have OR or medical/surgical nursing experience, an active nursing license, and be prepared to meet BLS/ACLS/PALS requirements as applicable. Pay is listed at USD 30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment or current.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment or current.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is part of scope within 90 days.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Serve as a multidisciplinary team member in planning perioperative patient care.
