Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to promote patient-centered perioperative care. You will assess patient status and develop an individualized perioperative plan, working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include a nursing degree, active state licensure, and BLS/ACLS; PALS if pediatric care is involved. Perioperative certification is preferred and benefits include comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or current ACLS certification.
• Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) if pediatric scope is included within 90 days of employment or current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
