Job summary

US Eye is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for our fast-paced ophthalmic Ambulatory Surgery Center in South Carolina. The RN will contribute to perioperative care, working closely with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, and providing education to patients and their families. A SC RN license and BLS certification are required; prior ophthalmic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina and current BLS certification.
• Experience in perioperative care and ambulatory surgery is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care during the surgical timeline.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care and expectations.
