Capital Health’s Perioperative Nursing team in Hopewell, NJ is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The role focuses on delivering high-quality perioperative care through careful assessment, planning and collaboration with the surgical team.

The RN will ensure patient safety, implement analgesia and education strategies, and participate in performance improvement efforts across the unit. Requires AHA BLS, NJ RN license and ongoing credentialing as listed.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Experience: None; previous nursing experience preferred.
• Credentials: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider; NJ RN license.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Ensures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
• Provides discharge planning and patient-family education.
• Participates in performance improvement and Joint Commission readiness.
