Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital seeks an experienced perioperative nurse to provide direct and indirect care for CVOR, Neuro, and other advanced procedures. The role includes organizing prep, documenting care, and participating in teamwork with Surgeons and staff.

You will handle complex equipment, administer medications per protocol, and contribute to discharge planning while meeting regulatory standards. Call duties, including weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• Education - ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience - One year RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect nursing care in perioperative services (CVOR, Neuro, Difficult Airway, Transplant, Ophthalmology).
• Documents surgical procedures, counts and prep for intensive procedures.
• Operates and prepares complex surgical equipment; administers medications per protocol.
• Assesses patient needs and develops a care plan; evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team; supports discharge planning.
• May assist Surgical Technologist in scrub role; participates in education for staff.
• Must be able to take call, including weekends.
