Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital seeks a Surgical Technologist with specialty training in Neuro, CVOR, Ophthalmology, Difficult Airway, or Transplant to support daily operations at Level I trauma centers.

You will coordinate instrumentation, prepare sterile fields, assist surgeons, and maintain sterile technique while adhering to safety policies. Must be able to take call, including weekends, and contribute to team coaching and training.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Surgical Technology program or ST training in the U.S. Armed Forces.
• 15 hours annually of ST continuing education.
• CVOR exposure and the ability to scrub neuro, CVOR, ophthalmology, transplant cases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate instrumentation and sterile field needs for procedures.
• Prepare the surgical field and back table for the surgeon.
• Assist the surgeon and OR staff during procedures as directed.
• Maintain sterile field and compliant with safety standards.
• Clean and prep rooms between procedures and assist with turnover.
