Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for inpatient, operating room-oriented care. The role emphasizes patient/family-centered care, evidence-based practice, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure smooth discharge planning while maintaining regulatory compliance. Weekend/holiday/on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and completes nursing assessment using appropriate area and age specific standards/policies and tools.
• Develops an individual plan of care in collaboration with patient/family, provider, and interdisciplinary team.
• Updates the plan based on changes in the patient condition and communicates changes to the team.
• Provides direct care to assigned patients according to the nursing plan.
• Performs tasks within RN scope of practice and delegates as appropriate.
• Monitors quality of care and uses performance indicators to improve outcomes.
• Educates patient/family and communicates education needs to care continuum.
