Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments to ensure safe surgical preparation.
• Educate patients and families about the surgical process and recovery expectations.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including consent verification and medication administration.
• Provide intraoperative nursing support and maintain a safe surgical environment.
• Monitor and document patient responses across perioperative phases.
• Coordinate communication between surgical teams, anesthesia, and recovery staff.
• Deliver postoperative care including pain management and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
