Job summary

Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT, seeks a Perioperative Coordinator (RN) to oversee daily clinical operations across Perioperative Services, including OR, PACU, Endoscopy, and ACU. The role provides clinical leadership to nursing staff and supports onboarding, education, and certification initiatives.

The coordinator will help develop a Periop 101 course and ensure staffing effectiveness while maintaining patient-centered care and regulatory compliance within Day Kimball Health.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
BSN and CNOR certification required.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.
AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership across Perioperative Services (OR, PACU, Endoscopy, ACU).
Develop and implement Periop 101 program to support staff competency.
Support staff in obtaining certifications and maintaining competencies.
Deliver quality care through proper nursing processes.
