Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT seeks a Clinical Coordinator (RN) to lead the Med/Surg Unit and ensure high-quality patient care. You will oversee daily clinical operations, mentor nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure compliance with policies and standards to deliver patient-centered care.

Strong leadership and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential. The position requires excellent organizational skills, problem solving, and the ability to adapt to changing

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CT RN license.
• CPR certification (AHA) within 3 months of hire.
• BS in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Minimum one year leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of quality care through the nursing process.
• Stay aware of patients' needs and communicate changes to relevant team members.
• Apply critical thinking and establish priorities for patient care and staffing.
• Delegate tasks fairly based on team members' capabilities.
• Act as an advocate for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with leadership to evaluate staff and provide education as needed.
• Practice cost control measures to ensure efficient resources.
• Keep leadership informed of relevant matters and updates.
• Adjust assignments to changing workloads.
• Support nursing policies and implement new procedures.
