Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT is seeking a Perioperative Coordinator (RN) to lead daily perioperative operations across OR, PACU, Endoscopy, and ACU, ensuring high-quality patient care and clinical leadership.

The role includes developing a Periop 101 program, staff education, certification initiatives, and collaboration with the OR manager to optimize workflow and staffing while maintaining patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
BSN and CNOR certified.
Currently licensed as a Connecticut Registered Nurse.
AHA CPR certification or equivalent within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and support to Perioperative Services (OR, PACU, Endoscopy, ACU).
Develop and implement a Periop 101 program to support staff competency and professional development.
Support staff in obtaining and maintaining applicable certifications and competencies.
Ensure delivery of quality care through the nursing process.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.
Act as advocate for patients and staff; assist with performance evaluations and staff development.
