SCA Health is seeking a perioperative nurse to support patient-centered care across our operating room services. You will work within a coordinated team to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative experiences for patients.

FLUENT nursing licensure required with BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable; perioperative certification is preferred. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.
• ACLS course within 90 days of employment or current ACLS certification.
• PALS course is required when pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment or certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
