Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care and patient outcomes at our facilities. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality perioperative care aligned with Mission, Vision and Values.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, active state licensure, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and (where pediatric care applies) PALS. Perioperative nursing certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification if pediatric care is included in facility scope within 90 days of employment.
• Perioperative Nursing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Perioperative Nursing certification (preferred)
