Job summary

SCA Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room. The role focuses on promoting the mission and values of SCA while assessing and planning perioperative patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, current RN license, and relevant perioperative experience, with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing license in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days or current certification.
• ACLS within 90 days or current certification.
• PALS required if pediatric care is in scope within 90 days.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
