Adventist Health in Templeton, California is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) First Assist to support perioperative services. This RNFA role assists under the direction of the primary surgeon during surgical cases, providing leadership and high-level patient care.

Candidates must have a nursing degree, RNFA certification, and at least three years of scrub and circulate experience in an acute care setting. The position is staff, full-time, and located on-site in Templeton.

Qualifications

Graduate of a nursing program is required.
Certification of completion of an approved didactic RNFA course is required.
Three years scrub and circulate experience in an acute care facility is required.
Annual surgeon review is required.

Responsibilities

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care.
Assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in perioperative care.
Demonstrates leadership and professionalism as an RNFA.
Documents care clearly and participates in infection control.
