Job summary

Adventist Health Twin Cities in Templeton, CA seeks a Registered Nurse to perform professional nursing functions across perioperative care, coordinating patient care before, during, and after surgery. The RNFA role requires leadership and collaboration within the surgical team.

Under supervision of the primary operating surgeon, you will demonstrate intraoperative competency, ensure patient safety, and document according to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program required.
• Current RN license in state of practice required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• CNOR required.
• PALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and delivers nursing care.
• Documents clearly and accurately and completes quality monitors.
• Participates in infection control and discharge planning.
• Provides intraoperative RNFA support including suturing and hemostasis.
• Maintains patient privacy and supports a teamwork-driven environment.
• Performs duties assigned by the department manager and participates in staff education.
