Job summary

EyeSouth Partners is hiring a Registered Nurse in the Atlanta metro area to provide nursing care aligned with physician orders and clinic policies. You will prepare patients, monitor status, administer medications, and educate patients for discharge while working closely with physicians and the health care team.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in Georgia with BLS/ACLS, and has current Pre-op/PACU experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where work will be conducted.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current Pre-op/PACU experience within past 2 years.
• Demonstrates sound nursing judgment based on nursing theory.
• Experience in hospital or ambulatory surgery center settings.

Responsibilities

• Observe facility policies, procedures, and processes.
• Prepare patients for planned procedures and obtain medical histories.
• Carry out physician orders and monitor vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications per physician order and document care.
• Educate patients for discharge and coordinate with care team.
• Supervise non-licensed personnel and manage supplies.
• Maintain patient privacy and report any incidents promptly.
