Job summary

US Eye, a physician-led network of eye care practices, seeks a full-time Registered Nurse for our high-volume ophthalmic Ambulatory Surgery Center in South Carolina. The RN will support perioperative care, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, monitor patients, administer meds, and educate families.

Required is a South Carolina RN license with strong clinical assessment and communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Valid RN license in the state of South Carolina.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care during the perioperative phase.
Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Providing education and support to patients and their families.
