Job summary

EyeSouth Partners in Cincinnati, OH seeks a detail-oriented Registered Nurse to support our eye care clinic team. The RN will assess patients, administer medications, and coordinate care with physicians and staff to ensure safe, high-quality eye procedures.

Requirements include an active RN license in Ohio, BLS/ACLS, and recent pre-op/PACU experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where work will be conducted.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in perioperative or ambulatory surgery settings.
• Ability to provide patient and family teaching.

Responsibilities

• Observe facility policies, procedures, and processes.
• Prepare patients for planned procedures.
• Obtain the patient's medical history, including medications, allergies, and reactions.
• Administer medications per physician order.
• Document and communicate patient status to the care team.
• Supervise non-licensed personnel as assigned.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Ensure safe infection control practices.
