Job summary

Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our operating room team in California. You will provide comprehensive perioperative care, perform direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and excellent outcomes.

The role requires OR/CSOR experience, a BSN, and active CA RN licensure with CPR and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

Active RN license in California.
One year OR and/or CSOR experience within the last two years in acute care.
Two years recent circulating experience in outpatient surgery center.
BSN and scrubbing and circulating experience.
CPR and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process for planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
Multi-tasks, organizes, and prioritizes patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
Performs case preparation and intra-operative case execution for department needs.
Anticipates preparation of cases and needs to enhance team efficiency and avoid delays.
Documents unit and patient records timely, accurately, and concisely.
Initiates and investigates needed repairs, missing equipment, and other pertinent areas to ensure resolution.
