Job summary

SCA Health is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to join our perioperative team in California. You will assess patient status, develop care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient perioperative care.

The role requires a nursing degree, state licensure, and OR experience, with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS as outlined. Perioperative certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS.
• PALS certification within 90 days of employment if pediatric care is included in scope.
• Perioperative Nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
