Job summary

Paradise Valley Hospital in National City, part of Prime Healthcare, is hiring Staff RN for perioperative care in the OR. The role involves direct and indirect patient care, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and ensuring adherence to standards.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, with perioperative experience; CNOR preferred and BSN preferred. Full-time days, competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training.
• CNOR Certification (AORN) preferred
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting through the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Direct and guide OR technicians and other personnel while maintaining professional standards.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
