Job summary

Huntington Beach Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Services, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for perioperative care in a fast-paced OR environment. The role requires ensuring patient safety, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and delivering compassionate perioperative nursing throughout all age groups.

Requirements include active California RN license, BLS, and at least one year of perioperative experience; CNOR, ACLS, and PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• Perioperative experience or on-the-job training (minimum 1 year).
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and the Director of Surgical Services.
• Coordinate patient care in the peri-operative setting with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Guide OR Technicians and other staff while maintaining nursing standards and patient flow.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings as required.
