Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse to join our Surgery Main department. The role requires 1 year of OR RN experience in a hospital setting, and a 30-minute call response time including arrival at the facility. The Day shift offers 36 scheduled hours per week and a supportive, patient-centered environment.

You will provide professional nursing care across the continuum, delegating to LPNs/UAPs, and collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification must be current.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.
• 30-minute call response time including driving, parking and reporting to the Charge RN.
• OR experience in a hospital setting is preferred or must apply to OR Residency Program if not present.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates response to interventions and revises plan of care as needed.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement to improve quality and efficiency.
• Operations - Focus on safety, quality and efficiency in daily duties.
