Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Surgical Services/OR. This role requires a 30-minute call response time and a 36-hour weekly schedule with day shifts.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of prior OR RN experience in a hospital setting; those without may apply to the OR Residency Program. The RN provides professional nursing care across the continuum and collaborates with the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active RN license in Ohio or multi-state compact.
• BSN preferred after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient health status and plan nursing care.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and safety.
• Demonstrate leadership in process improvement for quality and efficiency.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
