Job summary

Lifekind Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse at our Surgery Center in Cathedral City, CA. As a Perioperative RN, you will support patients before, during, and after procedures, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements include a California RN license, current BLS; ACLS or obtaining within a designated timeframe; and at least 1 year perioperative/surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a California RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS required; ACLS required or to be obtained within designated timeframe.
• Minimum 1 year perioperative, surgical, OR, or PACU experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative assessments, intake, and verify consents and labs.
• Initiate IV access and administer medications/fluids as ordered.
• Circulate in OR, maintain sterile field, and assist surgeons/anesthesia.
• Monitor intraoperative patient status and document events accurately.
• Provide discharge instructions and follow-up communication with patients.
• Maintain inventory, safety checks, and routine equipment care.
