Job summary

Candidates should hold an active RN license in California, with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current; CNOR and BSN preferred. One year perioperative experience or on-the-job training is desirable; salary is

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training is preferred
• Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting through the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist and other perioperative staff.
• Direct and guide the OR Technician and other personnel.
• Maintain adherence to Universal Protocol and National Patient Safety Goals.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
