Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current California RN license.
• Credentials in area of practice (e.g., CNOR, PANAC, AAOPU) preferred.
• All Patient Care personnel must be certified per American Heart Association BLS within required timelines.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required/ recertified as specified.
• NRP certification for relevant roles.

Responsibilities

• The OR Staff Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum within the Surgical Services Department; supervises and coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, certifications, and hospital policies.
• Rotational assignments to PACU, Outpatient Endoscopy Unit, and Central Service as assigned.
• Share call duty as required.
• Willingly performs other duties and innovations as assigned.
