Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking aStaff RN to join the perioperative team on days. The role delivers direct and indirect patient care across all ages, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safe, efficient operative care.

Active RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS is required; CNOR and BSN are preferred. Perioperative experience is required, with competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training
• Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Direct and guide the OR Technician and other personnel.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
