Job summary

St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the perioperative (OR) team. This per diem role supports delivery of direct and indirect patient care across neonates to older adults in the surgical setting.

The RN coordinates with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Current Missouri RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• State RN license current and valid.
• BSN preferred; higher education supported.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications Current/active.
• Minimum perioperative experience; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Coordinate with surgeon and anesthesiologist and OR team.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards and quality initiatives.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and team meetings.
