Job summary

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License.
BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current.
ACLS (AHA) certification 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
PALS (AHA) certification 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
CNOR Certification (AORN) preferred.
BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting.
Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist and guide OR staff.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuous, quality patient care and efficient flow.
Ensure adherence to regulations, standards, and hospital policies.
Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
