Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - St. Louis is seeking an RN to assess, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients.

The role focuses on patient safety, adherence to protocols, and family involvement in care planning. Responsibilities include documenting patient responses, communicating with physicians, and ensuring accurate medication administration within hospital policy. BLS and Missouri RN licensure are required, with the role based on a day shift in Pain

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.
• Must maintain licensure requirements including BLS and RN licensure across applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, coordinates, implements and evaluates nursing care for surgical patients.
• Maintains patient safety and adherence to universal protocols.
• Involves patient and family in care planning and education.
• Documents patient responses and outcomes in a timely manner.
• Communicates changes in patient conditions to physicians and team.
