The RN in the Operating Room at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville coordinates the surgical team and ensures optimal perioperative nursing care.

You may be asked to scrub, serve as the patient’s advocate, and support a 34-room OR program with advanced equipment. This full-time role includes on-call hours and day shifts, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Formación

• RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Baccalaureate degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in General Surgery or Transplant preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including on-call.
• Must live within driving distance to campus for 45-minute on-call requirement.

Responsabilidades

• Circulate and coordinate the surgical team in all aspects of OR activities and provide optimum perioperative nursing care.
• May be asked to scrub as needed and act as the patient’s advocate.
• Work within a state-of-the-art hospital environment with advanced equipment.
