Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville seeks an Operating Room Registered Nurse to circulate and coordinate the surgical team, ensuring optimal perioperative care. The role may require scrubbing and calls for strong communication and teamwork in a high-tech environment.

The department operates 34 ORs with advanced equipment; eligibility for TN sponsorship; on-call requirements with variable hours; RN license and BLS required; BSN preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of a nursing program
• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program preferred, but not required.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting is preferred.
• Experience in General Surgery or Transplant is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Circulate and coordinate the surgical team in all aspects of OR activities, providing for optimum perioperative nursing care for patients.
• May scrub as needed, and act as the patient's advocate.
• Work in a state-of-the-art hospital with advanced technologies and equipment.
