Mayo Clinic in Florida seeks an experienced RN to join the Operating Room team. The RN circulates and coordinates surgical teams, ensuring optimal perioperative nursing care and acting as the patient advocate. The OR includes advanced suites and state‑of‑the‑art equipment in Jacksonville, FL.

Candidates should have a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS, and strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Periop 101 program is available for those with no OR experience.

Formación

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program preferred, but not required.
• One year RN experience in applicable care setting preferred (General Surgery/Transplant preferred).
• Current RN license by state requirements and BLS competency.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate nursing care in the OR and perioperative care for patients.
• Act as patient advocate and assist as needed with scrubbing.
• Lead and mentor team, participate in quality improvement.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Delegate care according to patient needs and resources.
