Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Graduate of a bachelor’s nursing program preferred, but not required.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting is preferred.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
• Additional specialty certification/training as required by the work area.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and coordinate the surgical team in all aspects of OR activities, providing optimum perioperative nursing care.
• May scrub as needed; function as the patient’s advocate.
• Work in a state-of-the-art hospital with 34 ORs, IMRI OR suite and a dedicated endovascular OR suite.
