Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred (not required)
• One year RN experience in applicable care setting preferred
• Experience in General Surgery or Transplant strongly preferred
• Current RN license by state requirements
• Maintains BLS competency
• Willingness to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends
• Must live within reasonable driving distance to meet 45-minute on-call requirement

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the perioperative nursing team in OR activities
• Provide optimum perioperative nursing care to patients
• Scrub as needed when required
• Advocate for the patient during surgical procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation and flexible scheduling
