Qualifications

• Active Louisiana RN license required.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Minimum 1 year of Critical Care experience.
• Able to respond to emergencies and adapt to float to Day Surgery and other units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients post anesthesia.
• Assist anesthesia with induction and throughout procedures.
• Monitor airway, breathing, and circulation.
• Document care and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control.
• Ensure patient safety and privacy.
