Job summary

• Willingness to float to Day Surgery, Surgery, and rotate call.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to post anesthesia patients focusing on airway management and circulation.
• Engage patients and families in care processes while respecting rights.
• Prepare for patient safety, comfort and privacy according to individual needs.
• Assess patients across age groups and document findings for anesthesia/surgeon review.
• Assist anesthesia during induction and throughout procedures.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, and follow infection control policies.
