Symphony Care Alliance in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in pre-operative and PACU care to join our perioperative team.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of practice (Arizona).
• Perioperative, PACU, or pre-op nursing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia, surgical procedures, and post-operative care.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; additional perioperative nursing certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, and manage pain and discomfort.
• Continuously evaluate patient responses to anesthesia and surgical interventions, adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.

• BLS and ACLS certification required; additional certifications in perioperative nursing are a plus
