Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Current PALS certification required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication and care given.
• Educate patients and families; identify issues and resources.
• Meet competencies as a leader of self/others/leaders; delegate as needed.
