Allina Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the Operating Room at Buffalo Hospital. The role offers 0.5 FTE with 8-hour day/evening shifts, and no weekend work. Under supervision, you will document vitals, assist with ADLs, and help with transfers in a perianesthesia setting.

The position emphasizes accurate charting, patient comfort, and collaboration with RNs and physicians to ensure safe care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must complete CNA program or nursing assistant academy or NREMT certification.
• One semester of clinical rotations with an accredited nursing program, or CNA/Nursing Assistant Academy/EMT/EMR related training.
• Current BLS from AHA or Red Cross or in-house training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Observe, collect and document health data per policy/procedures.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transfers under RN guidance.
• Document accurately in the EMR and support billing processes.
• Support patient transfers, mobility, and rooming as needed.
• Provide basic patient care and maintain skin integrity and comfort.
