Reporting directly to the site Chief Nursing Officer and indirectly to the Administrative Director, Nursing Specialty - Perioperative Services, the role leads Perioperative Services and drives operational excellence at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit.

This leadership position influences policy, capital planning, quality initiatives, and workforce development, partnering with senior leadership to achieve patient outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing, Business, Health Care Administration or related field (one degree in Nursing).
• Seven years of progressively responsible clinical/management experience.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Lead Perioperative Services with programmatic responsibilities in Nursing and policy development.
• Develop, monitor and revise functional processes and organizational structure for areas of responsibility.
• Manage budget and ensure compliance with Joint Commission, laws, and DMC policies.
• Recruitment, retention, and performance appraisal oversight; drive process improvements.
