Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• PALS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards for ASCs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PreOp and PACU nursing staff including scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, and training.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient volume and acuity.
• Facilitate effective communication among surgical team members, patients and families.
• Participate in management meetings, strategic planning and policy development.
• Oversee nursing assessments, interventions and documentation for standards of care.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgeons to ensure safe patient flow.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Maintain knowledge of evidence-based perioperative practices.
• Recruitment, onboarding and retention of nursing staff.
